Biography

I received the Ph.D. degree in Chemical Informatics in 2007 from the Department of Chemistry at Cambridge University (Unilever Centre for Molecular Science Informatics).  As a part of my research, I worked at Arrow Therapeutics where I developed data management tools for in-house virtual screening.  I obtained my undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Virology from Warwick University in 1998.  I then studied for an MSc degree in Bioinformatics at the University of Exeter where I completed my thesis at deCODE genetics, Iceland.  My professional career has developed in parallel to my academic career.  I held various positions at a number of organisations including NHS, Cellzome UK Ltd and Centaur Consulting.

Research Interests

My key research interest area is the development and application of informatics tools for data management.
