How do I find details of each module/programme and the start dates?

The module details and start dates are displayed on the individual module flyers. These can be reviewed using the following link - Modules Flyers 

The programme details and start dates for BSc level programmes are displayed in the Continuing Professional Development brochure. This can be reviewed using the following link - Undergraduate Programmes

How do I apply?

The module and BSc level programmes application form is displayed through the following link Application as a PDF attachment. Please complete all fields including the funding section and return this to the modules administrator detailed on the module/programme flyer.

The MSc, Doctorate and PhD level programmes application form is displayed through the following link Postgraduate Programme application as an online submission.This will be forwarded direct to the relevant administrator

What are the entry requirements?

What is QIPP?

QIPP stands for Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention. These are the focus outcomes introduced by the Department of Health to ensure maximum benefit and quality of care to patients given financial constraints.

To align with these outcomes, CPD modules offered by the university are carefully mapped against QIPP pathways.

The links below detail the QIPP pathways and within each link those modules that have been mapped against each pathway:

End of Life Care – identifying people as they approach the end of life and planning their care

Long Term Conditions – conditions that can not be cured but can be managed through medication and/or therapy

Medicine Use and Procurement – efficient use of medicines in primary care

Productive Care – increase local capacity and capability to scale up delivery of care

Right Care – putting the patient at the centre of selecting the right care

Safe Care – reducing the negative side affects of patient recovery

Staff Supply and Organisations – increasing knowledge and enhancing ability

Urgent Care – giving the right care, by the right person and the right time

How much does a module/programme cost?

The modules fees are displayed at the foot of the individual module flyers. These can be reviewed using the following link -  Modules Flyers

Programme fees for BSc level programmes (UK/EU students) are calculated on the cost of each module undertaken. The fees for BSc level programmes for Overseas students (residing outside of the EU) and students following a Specialist Practice pathway can be obtained from the programme administrator. How can I pay for my module/programme?

Invoices will be issued to the payee detailed on your module/programme application form. Please ensure if being funded by an employer/sponsoring company that a purchase order number is specified in the relevant field on the application form. 

Upon receipt of an invoice, if you have any queries with regards to method of payment, please contact the University Cashiers Office on 01483 689016

When do I need to apply by?

All module application forms must be submitted to the university, with the funding section completed by the appropriate persons within your organisation, at least a month before the start date.

All programme application forms must be submitted to the university by the end of July for the forthcoming academic year.

How can I apply for AP(E)L?

How can I find out my assessment/exam results?

Graduation Queries

Upon successful completion of your programme you final results will be displayed by our exams department. You will then be contacted by our registry department prior to your graduation ceremony to confirm your attendance and advise other details e.g. ticketing and robe hire. The undergraduate ceremonies take place in July and postgraduate ceremonies take place in April of each year. All ceremonies take place in Guildford Cathedral. If you have an enquiry regarding an upcoming ceremony that you are due to attend, please email ceremonies@surrey.ac.uk detailing your name, university number, award and ceremony you are due to attend along with your enquiry.
