Prizes to be awarded at Graduation July 2012

The Maureen Wilson Award

A monetary prize of £100 awarded to final year degree students (one adult branch/one child branch/one midwifery) judged to have been the most professionally caring and excellent in clinical performance.

There is also a runner up prize for each branch/programme of a £50 book token sponsored by the Ted Adams Charity.

The Ted Adams Award for Clinical Practice

A monetary prize of £250 awarded to the final year diploma students judged to have been the most professionally caring and excellent in clinical practice.

The Ted Adams Award for Clinical Excellence

Over and above the Award for Clinical Practice, a monetary prize of £500 is given to the one student judged as the best from the whole cohort.

The Morgan Prize

A monetary prize of £60 awarded to the final year degree nursing student who achieves the highest average mark in Levels 2 and 3.

The Pergamon Prize

A monetary prize of £100 awarded to the final year degree nursing student who submits the best dissertation.

The Pearson Education Award

A £50 book voucher awarded to the final year Diploma nursing student who achieves the highest average mark at Level 2.

The Jean Robson Award for Excellence

A prize of £50, awarded to the student graduating from the Diploma in Operating Department Practice, who is judged to have consistently maintained high standards of professionalism in clinical practice and excellence in academic activities.
