Biography
An experienced tutor with a nursing background in critical and high dependency care. Experience of clinical leadership, practice development and practice education. Expertise in the field of adult nursing and in the development, delivery and assessment of a range of modules across both pre and post registration programmes.
Research Interests
Completed a systematic review training programme with the Joanna Briggs Institute in February 2009. Currently working on a systematic review entitled 'The experiences and health outcomes of patients with heart failure, following their participation in self management education programmes'. Acted as a reviewer for a Joanna Briggs Institute best practice sheet: JBI (2009) Nurse led interventions to reduce cardiac risk factors in adults. Best Practice. 13 (5) 1 – 4
