Biography

My background is primarily in Accident and Emergency and Surgical Nursing.  I have worked in a number of acute hospitals both in the U.K and in New Zealand.   I have had an active role in supporting and developing student nurses throughout my career and made the transition to Higher Education in 2010.  

Research Interests

SHA Funded Project 2010 - 2012: The implementation of a service improvement initiative within University of Bedfordshire’s pre-registration nursing curriculum.

Action research project (2012). Engaging student nurses in self-assessment and OSCE performance – value and application to practice: an action research project.
