Biography

Admitted a Solicitor in 1969 – private practice dealing primarily with matrimonial, family and criminal cases as well as civil litigation generally.

Employed by Local Authority – dealing with housing cases; representing the Authority in Court; advising on child care issues.

Lecturer at NESCOT from 1982 – developing and teaching modules in law to (inter alia) post-registration health care professionals; nursery nurses; managers of care homes.

On  retiring from full time employment, I took up my present duties with the University.

No funded projects. My interests lie in publications.

Teaching

I teach on most programmes delivered by the Division of Health and Social Care, ranging from pre-registration courses, through specialist modules; for example to ODP students to post registration courses at diploma, undergraduate and masters level.
