BSc Public Health

BSc (Ord) and BSc (Hons) Public Health Practice

This programme is a flexible award that will allow you to develop your knowledge within the field of public health. The award is suitable for both UK and international students who wish to study current public health practice and develop their areas of interest. You will be able to choose optional modules equating to 45 credits which will allow you to tailor the programme to your learning and development needs. The award is suitable for those working in healthcare who have an interest in public health practice. It is also suitable for those who wish to develop their knowledge of this area of health but are not currently working in this field. Successful completion of the award will equip you with a sound knowledge of public health issues and practice. It will support you in developing the skills of critically appraising evidence from a wide range of sources and integrating that into your professional life. All students are supported in their development by the programme leader. This contact throughout each module ensures ongoing, cohesive support.

Typical entry requirements

240 credits of which at least 120 must be at level 2.
