International Orientation Programme

The International Student Office holds a two day International Orientation Programme at the beginning of the year, to welcome new undergraduate and postgraduate students to the University of Surrey.

New students registered with the university, attended workshops and visited local places of interest. The International Orientation Programme concluded with the International Reception & Dinner.

End of Year Lunch

Every year the International Student Office, together with the Students' Union, hosts a meal for all international students who are staying on campus over the Christmas vacation.  Students can bring along their families and for some it is the first experience of crackers.

It is a very relaxed affair, as you can see from the pictures below!

International Festival

The highlight of the international calendar at the University of Surrey is International Festival.  This year it runs from 7th to 18th March.

The IFestival is a great opportunity to get all the students together celebrating the vast array of cultures on campus. The festival will encompass an exhibition where there will be a range of different foods from across the world, Film nights, performances (IGala), workshops and trips. There are plenty of things for you to do and experience.

The IFestival is organised yearly by a group of student volunteers working alongside the Vice President of Societies, Societies, Activities coordinator and the Students Union Staff.

The International Student Office is pleased to support the IExhibition as part of the festival.
