Surrey Üniversitesi, geçmiş tarihinde her zaman için dünyanın her tarafından gelen uluslar arası öğrencileri memnuniyetle kabul etmiş bulunmaktadır. Halen okulumuzda eğitimine devam eden 145 un üzerinde farklı uluslara ait öğrenci okumaktadır ve bu nedenle, siz de gerçekten uluslar arası bir eğitim göreceğinizden emin olabilirsiniz.

Çok güzel ve güvenli olan üniversite kampusumuz Londra’dan trenle sadece 40 dakika kadar uzaklıktaki Guilford kasabasındadır, ve Heathrow ve Gatwick Hava Limanlarına çok yakın mesafededir.

Üniversitemizde ancak belli sayıda konaklama olanağı bulunmaktadır. Bunların büyük bir çoğunluğu tek bir öğrencinin kaldığı öğrenci yatak odalarıdır, bu odalar ortak bir mutfağa sahiptirler, ve yine ortak yada tek başına kullanılan tuvaletleri ve banyoları bulunmaktadır. Tam gün eğitim ücretini ödeyen öğrencilerin, derece atayan kurslarının devam ettiği normal süre içinde üniversitede konaklamaları garanti edilmiştir*. Üniversitemizin öğrenci birliği, USSU ise geniş çapta spor ve sosyal faaliyetlere ve 20 den fazla uluslar arası toplumları kapsayan çok sayıda kulüplere  sahiptir.

Üniversiteden mezun olduktan sonra Surrey Üniversitesinin öğrencileri için mükemmel çalışma olanakları bulunmaktadır. Çünkü her hangi bir İngiltere üniversitesi ile kıyaslandığında, okulumuz mezunlarının sürekli olarak en kolay iş bulan mezunlar olarak sıralandıkları görülebilir.

The main reason I chose to come to Surrey was because it was one of the top universities in my area, which is computing. The thing I like about this university is the campus life, and actually I visited some of the other universities, which didn’t have any campus or campus life at all.

Guildford is amazing for me. When I first came here I just hanged around in the town and I was surprised that there was everything that I could think of. The best thing about it was the hills, because I really enjoy hilly places. Having walks on the hills is something I really enjoy, and I can’t stand towns and places which are completely flat. Guildford reminds me of home which is also very hilly and full of mountains.

For fun I love to go out, quite often really. I really enjoy going clubbing in Guilford. You can always find good places to go. London is very close as well and it’s easy to go out in London and spend the night there, or come back to Guildford, as it’s not that far.

In terms of the facilities, the university has everything that you might need. The good thing about Surrey is, if you have a problem, any type of problem, whether its money, learning difficulty, academic, visa, health or just general advice, you will always find someone with a smile on their face ready to help you out.

Entry Requirements

Undergraduate Study

Qualifications are considered on a case by case basis and good grades will be considered for Bachelors programmes with entry at the foundation level (stage 0) or stage 1.

The University of Surrey offers an International Foundation Programme at the Surrey International Study Centre based on the campus.

Postgraduate Study

Holders of Lisans Diplomasi or Muhendis Diplomasi certificates from universities in Turkey at 60%+ (average score 2.2) will be considered for postgraduate Masters programmes. Please note some courses require a higher score. Holders of Masters degrees will be considered for MPhil/PhD study. Holders of Masters degrees will be considered for MPhil/PhD study.

Please note: The University is happy to consider overseas qualifications on a case-by-case basis. In considering the less well known qualifications it is helpful if we are provided with full details including transcripts, the syllabus (at least for your final year of study), the system for marks/grades and the web address of your institution. You can also get advice from the British Council or by contacting the International Student Office
