PhD Student Mr Pessi Honkasalo recently paid a research visit to Japan’s Institute of Intellectual Property in Tokyo. He was selected to visit under their Researcher Invitation Program 2011/2012, part of the IIU’s international research collaboration. Mr Honkasalo was engaged in comparative research on patent law and practice, with especial reference to computer software.
