Justice Minister speaks at Law Ball

Students from the University of Surrey’s School of Law were delighted to welcome Justice Minister and Surrey MP Crispin Blunt to their annual Law Ball on the 17th March 2012.
Mr Blunt said, “I’m very pleased to be part of this celebration and I’ve been impressed by the hard work and dedication of the students who have organised the ball. The opportunity to talk to tomorrow’s law professionals, at the very start of their careers, was one I couldn’t miss.”
The Ball is organised each year by the Student Law Society and celebrates the pro bono work that the School carries out, including its support for the Surrey Law Centre. Guests include prominent local law firms giving the students an opportunity to network with legal professionals.
Over the last few years a number of prominent speakers have attended the ball including Rt. Hon. Baroness Hale of Richmond.
