Biography
Noreen holds an MA from the University of Cambridge (Corpus Christi College), Master of Laws (LLM, Public Law) from UCL, and has completed advanced legal studies at the European University Institute (EUI), Florence, Italy and Université Paris-1 (Panthéon-Sorbonne). Called to the Bar of England & Wales (Inner Temple), she worked in practice at the European Commission (Service Juridique), Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU).
As Research Fellow at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL), she edited the Bulletin of International Legal Developments (BILD), a fortnightly global legal news journal, authoring articles on a wide range of topical issues relating to national, EU/ECHR and Public International Law. Since joining the University of Surrey, she has focused her research and teaching in the areas of Public Law, EU Law and Human Rights, with particular interests in inter/intra-state judicial dialogue and court reforms.
