Biography
Noreen holds an MA from the University of Cambridge (Corpus Christi College), Master of Laws (LLM, Public Law) from UCL, and has completed advanced legal studies at the European University Institute (EUI), Florence, Italy and Université Paris-1 (Panthéon-Sorbonne). Called to the Bar of England & Wales (Inner Temple), she worked in practice at the European Commission (Service Juridique), Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), and at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) before joining the University of Surrey in 2009.
Currently a Visiting Research Fellow at BIICL, her doctoral research focuses on inter/intra-state judicial dialogue in the context of EU law. Her teaching interests include UK Constitutional law, EU Public Law and Human Rights at both Undergraduate and Masters levels.
