Surrey International Law Centre (SILC)
International Law is now a feature of all aspects of international relations. The growth of international institutions, conventions, increasingly liberalised trade relations as well as growing international concerns towards environments illustrate that there has never been a more critical time to engage in the study of international law.
Officially inaugurated in 2009, the Surrey International Law Centre is based at the School of Law in the University of Surrey. Committed towards research, teaching and consultancy, the Centre deals with four main areas within public international law: International Commercial and Financial Law, International Criminal Law and Law of Armed Conflict, International Environmental Law and International Human Rights.
