ERRG/SILC Internship Programme
The Programme
The ERRG/SILC internship programme is an opportunity for students to undertake advanced research in the international legal field. By assisting ERRG and SILC members, interns will benefit from opportunities to collaborate with experts involved in cutting edge legal research and develop their research methods at an advanced level.
Internship Details
SILC focuses on four areas of expertise:
- International Commercial and Financial Law;
- International Criminal Law and Law of Armed Conflicts;
- International Environmental Law;
- International Human Rights
Depending on their area of interest, interns are assigned to researchers with teaching commitments, ongoing research and consultancy projects. The selected candidates will be offered a unique opportunity to be involved in a research process during the University term or on a project-basis. Participation can, for example, encompass doing a literature review, a synopsis, or helping with the preparation of conference papers. Occasionally, interns may also be involved in more general projects (organisation of conference events, etc)
Please note that these internships are unpaid.
Who Should Apply?
Students who have undertaken at least two years of legal education are encouraged to apply. Interns must be fluent in English, be familiar with legal research as well as with using basic computer software.
