Terms of Reference

  1. To advise ULTC on all matters related to the student experience.
  2. To be responsible for and give strategic leadership to the student experience.
  3. To review, further develop and monitor the student experience strategy.
  4. To review, monitor and report to ULTC on student retention, progression, non-completion and non-continuation.
  5. To review, monitor and report to ULTC on the quality of the student learning experience in relation to national benchmarks such as the NSS and internal benchmarks such as the MEQ and the SCEQ.
  6. To systematically review, monitor and report to ULTC all policies related to the student experience.
  7. To systematically review, monitor and report to ULTC the effectiveness of student services as a mechanism of enhancing and supporting the student experience.
  8. To prepare an annual work plan related to the student experience for consideration by ULTC.
  9. To prepare an annual report of work and progress of the sub-committee to ULTC.
