As a University, we aim to provide the highest quality student learning experience that combines academic rigour, personal and professional development and employability through introducing students to the most up-to-date knowledge that will enhance and develop their skills for independent academic study, digital media literacy, innovation, and working in professional contexts.
The strategy for Learning and Teaching is directed by the Vice President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs, Professor Gill Nicholls, working with senior colleagues across the University through the University Learning and Teaching Committee (ULTC) and Senate.
Within Faculties, Learning and Teaching strategy is overseen by dedicated Associate Deans. Further information on ULTC and its subcommittees is provided in the Committees page. You can also find details of some key staff and their responsibilities in our Contacts page.
