Austin Pearce Building

Location

The building is located on the Northern edge of the perimeter road, opposite the main car parking area and by the central bus stop.

Disabled Parking

• There is level access from the visitor car parks
• There is designated parking to the rear (South side) of Austin Pearce.  Continue along the perimeter road to Senate House, where the Security Office is based.  Security staff can then arrange access through the barrier to reach the rear of the Business Management School, next to Austin Pearce building, where there are 6 designated parking spaces for Blue Badge holders.

Disabled access

• Level 0 - There is level access from the rear entrance or ramped access to the main entrance.  Lecture theatres are accessible on this level.
• Levels 1 and 2 can be accessed by a lift

Lift

The lift is on the left hand side of the central foyer.  There are no audible floor announcements

Accessible Toilet

There are 2 accessible toilets:

• On the ground floor, to the right of the main entrance.  Access to the area is via a pull open door.
• Level 2 accessible toilet is to left of the staircase, through push open doors.

Lecture theatres

• The  lecture theatres are accessed by a double set of push open doors
• Seating is flexible in these rooms and wheelchair accessible.
• There are no induction loops in the AP building
