If students have difficulties with accessing resources in the Library there is a fetch and collect service for those unable to access resources independently and additional time to loan resources for those who need more time to read and research as a result of their disability.
For students with mental health difficulties we operate a network of support. Disability advisors co-ordinate support via a number of departments and specialist support staff. There is no DSA related charge for this work. Mentoring is delivered by learning support tutors in collaboration with other professionals. Student Helpers can also play a supporting role reporting to the Disability Advisor or Learning Support Tutor.
Reasonable exam adjustments are implemented and all papers are marked anonymously.
