Aiming for Impact

Exploring impact and its meaning in research

Impact is a word often used in research but what does it actually mean? And why does it matter? In this workshop we will look at different types of impact from increasing impact with your publications to how to have personal impact as a researcher.

By the end of the workshop participants will:
• Learn about impact in publishing and bibliometrics
• Explore what impact means personally to them as researcher
• Take away some ideas about how to increase their impact
