Biography

Annie Bryan joined the Researcher Development Team in November 2012. She gained her BA and PhD in English Language Studies at Swansea University, focusing on media discourse analysis for her doctoral research. 

At Swansea she taught on undergraduate modules within the English Language Studies programme, and delivered training on qualitative data analysis software. She then worked as a Learning and Development Adviser at the University of Essex, contributing to the research skills training programme for doctoral students. In 2012 she became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
