Biography

Sam’s knowledge and expertise of the trials and tribulations of postgraduate study comes from her own experiences of study. Having studied biology to PhD level in South Africa, she has a unique insight into the PhD process.

Since completing her PhD, she has held positions as a Tutor and Lecturer at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa, and Post-doc within FHMS and is now applying those experiences to the development and delivery of specialised, tailored training for Early Career Researchers here at Surrey.
