Final Year Students

Leaving the University

You are now nearing the end of your course; please check that your Library record is clear before you leave the University.  The Award Regulations for Degrees Diplomas and Certificates states that:

“No student shall be entitled to an award of the University unless all fees for tuition and residence and any other sums due to the University have been paid and the rightful property of the University returned”.

To comply with this regulation you must return all your Library loans and settle any out-standing charges so that we can confirm your Library clearance before you leave.

You can check your record is clear remotely by using the 'My Library Account' section of the online catalogue at:

http://prism.talis.com/surrey-ac/home or by calling the 24 hour telephone service on 01483 689235.

If you have any queries, please contact Library staff at the Lending Services desk, or email issue-desk@surrey.ac.uk, or telephone 01483 689235

You will need to print out and bring to the library a letter to confirm your clearance, for the library to sign.  It is available at:
