"Death by Powerpoint" is a phrase used to describe the numbing effect that too many identikit presentations using Microsoft's ubiquitous tool can have.  This session will provide an introduction to the free online tool Prezi, which offers an alternative to the linear, slide-based approach and an opportunity for practical experimentation with the application.  

If you have an existing Powerpoint presentation, please make sure you can access it during the session (via 'My documents', on a memory stick etc).
