This session will be focused on helping you understand the considerations necessary to choose the right statistical data analysis technique.

Students attending this session will be able to:

  • Identify a sequence of actions that enable effective data analysis
  • Consider key information that can increase the success of analysing data
  • Follow suggestions for actions that can increase the success of analysing data
  • Identify why it is important to follow the recommendations for actions outlined in this presentation
  • Identify key pieces of information to include in a write up of your research, related to data analysis, which could gain you marks
