This is a common question and the answer is: it depends. This session will show you the importance of planning and structuring your essays and how this will ultimately improve your marks!
Intended Learning Outcomes:
1. think about your own personal university year ahead
2. Learn where you can obtain the criteria against which you will be assessed
3. Identify some of your strengths and weaknesses
4. Find out who can help you develop as learner
5. Increase their network of contacts at Surrey
6. identify some of the key characteristics of an appropriate university essay
7. consider some personal approaches to essay writing that can result in the desired characteristics identified in outcome one
