Reading Lists

The simplest and quickest way to find good quality academic reading relevant to your lectures and assignments is to search for the online reading list. Lists link directly to ebooks and articles in ejournals.  

Databases

Databases are online searchable collections providing access to a range of information including journal articles. Some databases will link to the full text of articles, others will only provide the reference.

Bandolier A monthly journal produced in Oxford for the NHS R & D Directorate.

Centre for Evidence Based Medicine Contains the EBM Toolbox a collection of useful analytical tools for Evidence Based Medicine and teaching materials including scenarios, worksheets to support the teaching of evidence based medicine. Also includes the EBM Glossary.

Clinical Evidence From the BMJ Publishing Group, Clinical Evidence is the international source of the best available evidence for effective health care. It promotes informed decision making by summarising what's known -- and not known -- about the treatment and prevention of nearly 200 medical conditions.
