This is part of a series of collaborative meetings between Bristol University, Liverpool University, Manchester University, Queen Mary, Surrey University and Warwick University, supported by a Scheme 3 grant from the London Mathematical Society.

Metastability of Certain Intermittent Maps

Renewal theorems for products of random matrices and application to stationary solutions of some stochastic recursions.

  • 4:00pm - 5:00pm in 24AA04: Kit Nair (University of Liverpool)

Pointwise ergodic theorems and combinatorial number theory

Coffee and tea will be available at 3.30pm in room 40AA04. Wine at 5pm in room 40AA04. There will also be a dinner organised in a local restaurant.
