Workshop on PDES at the ICMS, Edinburgh

Michele Bartuccelli and Sergey Zelik are organizing a conference on “Dissipative PDEs in Bounded and Unbounded Domains and Related Attractors” at the ICMS in Edinburgh from 20-24 September 2010. Their co-organizers are Maurizio Grasselli (Milano) and Armen Shirikyan (Cergy-Pontoise).
Topics will include: the theory of global attractors in bounded and unbounded domains; length scales, including the Kolmogorov length scale in turbulence; infinite-energy solutions and spatio-temporal complexities for dissipative PDEs; invariant measures for the stochastically perturbed dissipative systems in bounded and unbounded domains; asymptotic properties of solutions for ill-posed problems.
