Congratulations to Neil Bristow, who passed his PhD viva on 24 November.

The external examiner was Professor Alan Champneys (Bristol), the internal examiner was Dr Claudia Wulff and supervising the thesis was Dr Philip Aston and Dr Anne Skeldon.

Neil will be starting a postdoc in Aarhus, Denmark in January 2011.
