Biography

I have lectured at the University of Surrey since September 1989. During that time I have researched in Bayesian statistics focusing mainly on model selection and diagnostics. I have also looked at degradation models working with the Diabestes Trials Unit in Oxford.

Research Interests

Bayesian statistics including degradation models and model selection. I have a particular interest in medical applications.

Teaching

I have taught at all levels of statistics. In this academic year I am teaching a level 2 general linear models course and a final year course in Bayesian statistics.

Departmental Duties

I am the Senior Professional Training Tutor. I am on the University Ethics Committee. In the Spring Semester I am the Level 1 Examinations Co-ordicator.
