Biography
I am a PhD student in the Analysis of PDE's group.
My supervisor is the great Dr Sergey Zelik. And he has taught me a great many varied and interesting things about Partial Differential Equations.
For example did you know that Generalized functions were introduced by Sergei Sobolev in 1935. They were re-introduced in the late 1940s by Laurent Schwartz, who developed a comprehensive theory of distributions.
Maths, what an interesting subject!
Research Interests
I am interested in PDE's. more specifically semilinear evolution equations. I have worked with Coupled Burgers' Equations, which are a simplified model for the turbulence in the Navier Stokes Equations and can be used as a model of Polydispersive Sedimentation.
I'm now working on the Navier Stokes equations in a two dimensional unbounded domain using the uniformly local spaces technique.
