The Surrey MBA
MBA entry requirements
We accept applicants with a wide range of educational and business experience. You will need good written and spoken business English language skills and a mix of professional experience and educational qualifications. If you are not sure that you meet our criteria please get in touch and we can advise you.
Professional experience
For the full-time MBA programme you will need at least three year’s work experience including some managerial, supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
For the Executive MBA you will need at least five years relevant post-graduate work experience with managerial or leadership responsibilities.
Educational qualifications
A Bachelor degree, UK Lower Second, 2.2 or above, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised British or overseas university.
If you don’t have a degree you will still be eligible if you have:
- A relevant professional or training qualification, and
- At least six years managerial experience
English language requirement
If English isn’t your first language you will normally be required to have IELTS 6.5 or above or an equivalent qualification.
We may ask applicants to undertake the GMAT exam.
