The Media Relations team connects members of the media with our academic staff, helping to provide timely and interesting information about our work and discoveries. We can help you with:
Interview requests
If you are a journalist following up on a University of Surrey story we can put you directly in touch with our academics and researchers for quotes, interviews and background information
Expert Comment
If you are working on a current news or features story, perhaps unrelated to the University, but you feel you would like an expert opinion we can put you in touch with our academics to provide commentary and reaction to the story.
Filming and photography requests
TV crews who wish to film on the campus need advance permission from the Media Relations team. Please contact at: mediarelations@surrey.ac.uk
Field trips
We can arrange field trips for journalists who are on the look out for stories related to their areas of interest. Normally such trips involve meeting a number academics and researchers on the same day.
