Professor Roland Clift appointed as a Vice-President of Environmental Protection UK

Distinguished Professor Roland Clift from the Centre for Environmental Strategy at the University of Surrey has been appointed a Vice President of Environmental Protection UK with effect from 17 July 2008 for two years.
Environmental Protection UK was previously known as the National Society for Clean Air (NaSCA). It works for a cleaner, quieter and healthier world, brings together environmental professionals, industry, policy makers, academics and the public to inform debate and influence changes to policy and practice in the areas of air quality and climate change, land quality, and noise.
Professor Clift comments: "Environmental Protection UK has been very influential in improving legislation and the environmental performance of local authorities. I am delighted to be associated with this organisation and to have the opportunity to help it to be productive and effective."
