Surrey welcomes Freshers

The University of Surrey Students' Union today welcomed Freshers to the University with its annual Freshers' Fair. With demonstrations in everything from street dance to martial arts there was something for every one of the estimated 2,000 people who attended.
Elizabeth Simos, President of the Students' Union said: "This year's fair was even bigger and better than usual and proved to be the perfect way to welcome all the new Surrey students and let them know about all the different activities and support services available to them."
With over 150 stalls representing different sports, pastimes, political and religious groups this was the ideal way for students from over 150 countries to get to meet new friends from around the world.
