The Big Dance for All Day

If shows such as ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ have shown us anything it is that dance is fun for everyone of all ages and whatever talent you think you may have it’s worth giving it a go. That’s why UniSPORT at the University of Surrey invites boogying babies and grooving grannies along with everyone else to take part in the Big Dance For All Day to take place on campus on Sunday, July 13 2008 11am – 4pm.
Entry is only £1 for the day and you get the chance to trip the light fantastic at Street dance, Flamenco, Capoeira, Ballroom, Salsa, Breakdance, Bellydance and much more! Everyone is welcome, the only restriction being that under 8s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The day will also allow you to watch performances of local youth dance groups and find out about dance in your area. An added incentive is that the first 50 people will receive free T-Shirts and bags.
