Bath’s Elizabeth Simos named President

Elizabeth Simos from Bath has been elected as the President of the University of Surrey Students’ Union following a hard-fought campaign.
Elizabeth (21) won the election against three other candidates by running on a manifesto of improving communication between the University, Union and student population.
Elizabeth has previously been active in Student politics but strongly believes that party politics should have no place in student representation.
