Monday 28 April 2008
East Preston student Jack Symons has been elected as the Vice President Societies and Individual Development at the University of Surrey Students’ Union.
Jack (20) won a hard-fought election against eight other candidates by running on a manifesto of individual development and entrepreneurship.
Jack, who was previously a student at Our Lady of Sion School in Worthing, is currently in his third year studying Tourism Management. During his time at Surrey he has had the pleasure of experiencing many new things including acting both on stage and then using those acting skills whilst playing in poker tournaments.
