Tuesday 8 January 2008
The University of Surrey invites all those interested in business to attend a free enterprise seminar entitled: Use Your Influencing Skills to Achieve Greater Success. The seminar will be given by Janet Pink in Room 01AC02, SCEPTrE, AC Building (see www.surrey.ac.uk/sceptre/contact.htm for directions) on Thursday 21 February, 12.30 p.m – 1.30 p.m.
Influencing is a skill that can be used in all aspects of life, personal and at work. We all are influenced and/or influencing people, events and situations. It helps earn cooperation from others, ensures your voice is heard and can make you a better leader by gaining support by inspiring others, engaging another’s imagination, creating relationships or finding champions.
The seminar will be facilitated by Janet Pink, MCIPD, NLP Practitioner & Coach, Icando Limited. Janet founded Icando in 2000 out of a passion for developing people. She will give you an insight into what influencing is, how it works and understanding yourself to maximise your influencing skills. Janet has 20 years management and consultancy experience and has worked across many industry sectors. Her driving passion is to create healthy energetic organisations, work life balance and wellness for individuals. www.icando.ltd.uk/
