Surrey Student wins best talk prize for battery research

Julia Percival, a final year PhD student in the Materials Chemistry Group at the University of Surrey, was awarded the Roy Prize for best talk at the recent RSC Solid State Chemistry Group meeting (University of Durham). Julia presented her recent work on novel garnet related Li ion conductors for possible use in solid state Li ion batteries.
