Monday 23 June 2008

"12" is one of the Guildford Summer Festival exhibitions to be held at the Lewis Elton Gallery, University of Surrey from Tuesday, 24 June until Thursday, 10 July. It features work by 12 final year photography foundation degree students from Farnborough College of Technology, affiliated to the University of Surrey. The students’ course is designed to embrace technical excellence and the development of a unique and individual approach to the medium.

Each student is trained to produce images that encompass cutting edge industry requirements whilst also being encouraged to develop a highly artistic and individual approach. The show typifies the diversity and breadth of work produced by the students and amply showcases the outstanding ability of the class of 2008.

A Watts Gallery Touring exhibition featuring work by Peter Monkman will be the next Summer Festival exhibition to be held at the Lewis Elton Gallery and will run from Tuesday 15 July to Friday 22 August.
