Daily events listings: Thursday 10 September

Tuesday 1 September 2009

The University of Surrey invites members of the press to the British Science Festival on Thursday 10 September 2009. Join us for the final jam-packed day of events and presentations that promise a suitable crescendo to the end of this week-long event.

Consider the issues surrounding science and faith, what the credit crunch means for crime levels, and how drinking water supplies and sanitation can be improved in developing countries. Uncover the technology behind today’s electronic voting systems and find out just where your vote goes, then go out of this world and discover the new technologies that could radically change the way we send spacecraft to the Moon.
