University of Surrey and Waterfall Solutions sign Memorandum of Understanding
Monday 14 September 2009
The University of Surrey and Waterfall Solutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in recognition of their desire to formalise working relationship through a framework agreement and to stimulate further collaboration.
The signing of this agreement follows a series of meetings showcasing the research activity of the University and discussing opportunities for joint ventures. In particular, the recently awarded £4m Knowledge Transfer Account from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council has provided a series of collaborative options. A Pathfinder Project with Surrey’s Department of Computing is in development with the objective to overcome challenges to exploitation and deliver real and tangible benefits to the UK economy and society.
The MOU demonstrates the University’s continued commitment to developing strong relationships with industry and commerce at a regional, national and international level. The agreement provides an exciting opportunity for knowledge exchange and will form the basis of a long term strategic relationship.
The signing of the MOU coincides with Waterfall Solutions’ 10 year Anniversary.
