Do you feel that your business could benefit from knowing more about up to date technology? Then this event is perfect for you. Surrey Chambers of Commerce and the University of Surrey are hosting an event on Wednesday 20th May from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Lecture Theatre Concourse, University of Surrey, Guildford, designed to show businesses just how young people use the latest technology. The event will offer companies the chance to meet some of the future workforce and engage with young people.
This event will allow businesses to understand how young people engage with some of the latest web technologies and how these can be utilised to market to young people. In hard times it is very important to look at creative ways of advertising and Surrey students are perfect to demonstrate just how companies can reach the younger generations. Some of the technologies featured at the event will be – Facebook, Youtube, Podcasting, Photoshop and many more.
There will be a short talk by Stewart Graham from Avalon Solutions regarding the benefits of business networking both to students and businesses. This will be followed by a presentation from students on the ways they use various technologies.
