Important Announcement: UCAS Day Wednesday 4 February 2009 Cancelled

Due to the adverse weather conditions affecting the whole of Surrey we regret to inform visitors that the UCAS day on Wednesday 4 February has been cancelled. Visitors are therefore asked not to attempt traveling to the University campus for this event.
The University has been working hard to restore full access to the campus but circumstances beyond our control have resulted in the need to restrict access as the local road, rail and bus infrastructure has not yet recovered from the earlier severe snowfall. Car parking facilities and deliveries to the campus are also causing severe problems and staff required for us to successfully run the event are unable to reach the campus leaving us unable to ensure the quality of the experience visitors will receive.
We apologise for the inconvenience and further information detailing how the University will make access available at further UCAS events will become available later in the week to ensure those effected are catered for. This information will be accessible through our homepage at http://www.surrey.ac.uk from Wednesday 4th onwards.
