Surrey rises up the Times Good University Guide
Thursday 14 June 2012
The Times Good University Guide, published today (14 June), ranks the University of Surrey in 26th place.
Surrey has climbed up three places from last year's table. The Times' guide measures eight aspects of a University's performance including student satisfaction, research quality, entry standards, staff-student ratio, spend on facilities, completion, good honours and graduate prospects
Professor Sir Christopher Snowden, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Surrey, said: “We are delighted to see that the Times Good University Guide continues to reflect Surrey's continual improvements in performance and reputation. The rise in the rankings is a testament to how hard the University of Surrey has been working not only to meet students' needs, but to surpass their expectations and deliver an outstanding student experience."
In May, the University rose seven places in the Guardian newspaper’s University league table to 12th place.
