Make a difference - become a nurse
Wednesday 5 December 2012
Thinking of a career in the caring profession but not sure where to begin? Like the idea of a University experience but have concerns about tuition fees? Then we may have the ideal course for you.
The University of Surrey is now accepting applications for late February entry onto our Adult Nursing degree programme. The degree is one of only few in the country where the NHS funds each course and covers the £9,000 tuition fees on behalf of each student.
The programme offers an opportunity to gain a professional recognised qualification in the field of adult nursing together with a BSc (Hons) degree from a highly respected institution.
It combines theory and practice with students having guaranteed placements in both the NHS and independent sectors in areas including NHS Trusts in Chichester, East Surrey, Frimley, Guildford, Chertsey and Basingstoke. Completion of the course leads to promising career prospects in a variety of healthcare settings and clinical specialities.
Sara Faithful, Professor of Nursing Practice at the University of Surrey commented: “We are pleased to be able to offer the public the chance to come in and meet with us and to have a flavour of our courses during our Open Afternoon. Being equipped with a Surrey degree will enable you to have a stimulating career which will really have an impact on the life of everyday people.”
