Mechanical Engineering at Surrey is ranked 2nd in the UK

Head of Division, Prof Andy Crocombe, was delighted that the Division had risen from 9th to 2nd position in the latest NSS (National Student Survey) results released in August 2009 and that we have an overall satisfaction rating of 96%.
The NSS is a student assessment of their programmes. Students in the graduating year answer 22 questions in categories including Teaching, Assessment and Feedback, Academic Support, Organisation and Management and Overall Satisfaction.
Prof Crocombe commented 'We endeavour to provide our students with a good learning experience and are continually looking for ways to further improve our Programmes. Thanks must go to all the staff for all the dedication and hard work they put in to help make our Programmes a success.'
