Surrey tops the NSS 2010 survey

The National Student Survey (NSS) is a national survey of graduating students carried out to determine the quality of their learning experience. Students rate their satisfaction in total of 22 areas. These data are used in different ways by the different league tables that are available. Mechanically based engineering (which includes Aerospace Engineering) at Surrey ranks 1st in the NSS tables Using each of the methodologies adopted by the main league tables (see extract below).

Prof Andy Crocombe, Head of the Mechanical Medical and Aerospace Engineering Division, comments "Educating the next generation of Engineering professionals is very important to us. We are delighted that our students feel they have a very good learning experience here at Surrey"
