Information for Schools and Colleges

The Department of Mechanical Engineering Sciences values contacts with schools and colleges highly, and organises several events for students and teachers. These include visits, workshops and talks for schools, and residential courses including the Engineering Education Scheme, Headstart and the University’s own science and engineering taster courses. In addition staff are also involved with outreach work at Brooklands Museum, the birthplace of British Motorsport and aviation and home to Concorde.
